People joke about how coconut oil is the solution to all of life’s problems, but they’re actually right… Coconut oil has a countless number of uses, some you may not even know about. This miraculous oil is a solid at any temperature below 76 degrees. To make the oil easier to work with, melt the solid to liquid form or store it in a space that is above 76 degrees. Gone are the days when people would only utilize coconut oil for cooking, nowadays, you can pretty much apply coconut oil anywhere to reap its amazing benefits.
- Shaving Cream: Looking to bring your shaving game to the next level? Try using coconut oil as a substitute for shaving cream. The oil will allow for your razor to glide smoothly across the surface of your body while adding moisturize with each stroke.
- Makeup Remover: Although it may be hard to put down your favorite makeup wipes, you won’t be disappointed opting for coconut oil instead. All you need is a teaspoon of coconut oil and a cotton round to wipe away all your makeup. Coconut oil breaks down even the most pigmented product. Upon removing your makeup, rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.
- Moisturizer: The best time to moisturize is immediately after you step out of the shower. While your skin is still damp, lather your skin in coconut oil, letting the oil absorb deep into your skin for ultra hydration.
- Hair Oil: Tired of applying serums and oils and seeing no results? While your hair is still damp, apply a quarter size amount of coconut oil to the ends of your hair to combat dryness and lock in moisture. Oh, and who doesn’t love extra shiny locks?
