Top 3 Lip Colors for Summer

What lip shades come to mind when you think about summer? If I were to ask myself this question, I’d say pink, coral, peach, and orangey reds. These shades look amazing against bronzed skin although you don’t have to be tan to rock these shades. Warm shades as the ones described above are easier to touch up throughout the day because darker shades tend to bleed more frequently in warmer temperatures. Pinks, corals, peaches, and orangey reds are universal shades that complement a wide variety of complexions, but they can be tricky depending on which undertones they have so pay close attention to that and you are sure to find your go to summer shade!

I Will Succeed is a true nude matte liquid lipstick with slight coral undertones. I have a tan complexion and my lips are naturally pigmented and I have noticed that the coral undertones are more prominent on myself than they are on my colleague who is much lighter than I am. If you’re looking for a warm nude, this is definitely the shade for you!

I Am Fierce is the perfect summertime orangey red. This red is unlike others in the sense that it does not contain blue undertones which make the red appear as a “wine” or “deep” red. The deeper reds are great for the evening, but this shade is perfect for a day out in the sun.

  • Sorry, Not Sorry Moisturizing Lipstick

Sorry, Not Sorry is a peachy pink shade that I am happy to say I would actually wear considering I stay away from pinks. With my tan complexion, I’ve never really found the perfect pink shade that won’t wash me out. The peach undertones in this pink give the overall color some warmth.
