Weekend Makeup Vibes

Weekends either consist of makeup looks to slay on Instagram or not an ounce of makeup at all, there is no in between for me. But once I’ve scheduled in my plans, best believe I am already planning my outfit and makeup vibe. It’s one of my favorite things to do, my mind becomes consumed with all the possibilities - is it a day or night time event? What is the vibe of the location; trendy, edgy, casual, glam? Once I have my basic who, what, when, where and why questions answered I have an idea of what vibe I will be going with.

The weekend officially starts at 5pm Friday evening. Chances are that Friday night will be spent out with your girl gang, whether you are bar hopping in Newport Beach or hitting up the trendiest new spot in L.A. For a night out as such, I would opt for a look like the beautiful Nikki, her smokey eye is bringing the drama, which can be created with the Be Your Own Kind Of Beauty Eye Shadow Palette. A nude lip is a go to when out with friends, you don’t have to worry about it being too harsh with your smokey eye or that the color will bleed after a drink or two. To complete this night out vibe, Nikki is wearing I Love Myself Moisturizing Lipstick.

Saturday’s tend to vary, they might be spent at a cute coffee shop in Laguna Beach or shopping outdoors at the Spectrum. For a day spent at either of the two, I would go with a natural look and add a bold lip. Most likely I would have my sunglasses on, which is why I would use this opportunity to rock my newest lip color. The gorgeous Katerina is rocking her I Am Tough Matte Liquid Lipstick while keeping the rest of her look natural, allowing her lips do the talking.

Saturday night, chances are my girls and I are out to a restaurant, may it be Bungalow, The Cliff, or Rooftop. For dinner, I would go for a night out vibe without all the darkness. Raye nailed this rose gold smokey eye that brings just enough attention to the eyes without being too edgy for dinner. Her smokey eye can be achieved with the Do Your Squats Eyeshadow Palette. It’s important that you keep the rest of your look natural with an eye look such as this, so Raye used I Love Myself Moisturizing Lipstick.

Last but most definitely not least. And maybe one of my favorite things about the weekend. Sunday brunch. The perfect opportunity to catch up on all of your friends stories from the work week and the weekend thus far, while enjoying fruit topped waffles, coffee and endless mimosas. A natural look with a fun little pop of color is the vibe I would be feeling for brunch. Shawna created the perfect look with a coordinating lip and eyeshadow to bring a pop of pink to the table. Shawna is using her Women Rule The World Lip Liner and I Will Succeed Matte Liquid Lipstick. To achieve an eye look like Shawna’s, use the shade Strive in the Do Your Squats Eye Shadow Palette.
